Target Audience

This activity is intended for pediatricians, family physicians, and other physicians, advanced clinical practitioners, physician assistants, and nurses.
 

Statement of Need

There is a need to equip primary care clinicians with the knowledge of policy-driven barriers affecting children and families and practical approaches that improve care delivery.

Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this activity learners should be able to:

1. Describe current national policies and their implications for access to care and child health outcomes.
2. Discuss how changes in national policies contribute to health inequities among pediatric populations.
3. Recognize the local impact of national policy decisions on Delaware children and families
