Target Audience
This activity is intended for pediatricians, family physicians, and other physicians, advanced clinical practitioners, physician assistants, and nurses.
Statement of Need
There is a need to equip primary care clinicians with the knowledge of policy-driven barriers affecting children and families and practical approaches that improve care delivery.
Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this activity learners should be able to:
- Describe current national policies and their implications for access to care and child health outcomes.
- Discuss how changes in national policies contribute to health inequities among pediatric populations.
- Recognize the local impact of national policy decisions on Delaware children and families
