Target Audience
This activity is intended for primary care physicians, specialty physicians, research physicians, residents, pharmacists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other clinicians.
Statement of Need
Healthcare providers lack knowledge of current and past PI projects. Healthcare providers lack knowledge of new or less common conditions encountered in the medical field. Healthcare providers lack knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion research.
Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this activity learners should be able to:
- Discuss innovative ways to improve current processes.
- Apply Improved communication with patients of diverse backgrounds.
- Discuss and apply diversity, equity, and inclusion research.
Accreditation Statement
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Medical Society of Delaware and Bayhealth Medical Center. The Medical Society of Delaware is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
